Richard (Dick) Olson - Co-founder; President and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Olson earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He was a marine aviator with type ratings in several aircraft, including the Hughes 500 helicopter. Mr. Olson retired in 1984 as a Captain of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office after 18 years of service. In 1987 he formed Dick Olson and Associates, Inc., which manufactured and sold aircraft hardware to customers such as American Airlines, US Air, Air Canada, and the United States Navy. He has spent the last twenty years in aerospace marketing and manufacturing. His components have gone through the rigors of the FAA certification process, and FTC (service type certificate) status was awarded by the FAA on these components.
Mark Bridgeford - Co-founder; Chief Executive Officer, Secretary/Director
Mr. Bridgeford earned a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal-Poly Pomona. He holds an aircraft/airframe/power plant license and private pilot’s license from the FAA. He gained knowledge of the commercial aircraft business working for four years as a customer service/product support engineer for McDonnell Douglas Corp. in Long Beach, California. Mr. Bridgeford has owned and operated a start-up franchise building maintenance business. He spent nine years in aerospace technical sales, and was previously employed as a sales engineer for Hartwell, Inc., an aerospace components company located in Placentia, California.
