IMS, incorporated in 1994, was created in order to bring the Electro-Expulsive De-icing System (EEDS) to the marketplace. ESS, incorporated in 1977, was created in order to offer a one-stop shop for the manufacture of harness and cable assemblies to the maritime and aerospace industries.

IMS and ESS merged in 2007. The EEDS product offered by IMS is emerging as an accepted technology in the aviation and military marketplace with an expanding contract base. ESS was already producing electronic components for IMS and has obtained the highest quality rating, AS9100. In addition, ESS fabricates cables, harness assemblies and components for commercial, medical and military applications.

ICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS - Your Final De-icing Solution

IMS has been awarded a non-exclusive license through the Technology Commercialization Program at NASA to manufacture, market and distribute a patented technology that will revolutionize the aircraft industry in the area of in-flight de-icing. Electro-Expulsive De-icing System (EEDS) allows for the retrofitting of existing aircraft. The application can be incorporated into the construction of new aircraft, as well. IMS spent years in research and development in order to bring this technology to a qualified and certified level. IMS is currently in production on governmental and experimental platforms.
